The filter has been tested for the reduction of 75 contaminants, including lead, chlorine, chloramines, industrial chemicals, and cysts, when used as part of the Coral Under Sink Water Filtration System (UC100). It meets NSF/ANSI standards 42, 53, 372, 401, and CSA B483.1, ensuring reliable performance.
The replacement filter can be installed in just a few minutes with a quick and easy "twist-and-seal" installation. A change indicator lets you know when a new filter is needed, and the purchase includes a battery replacement for the faucet's filter change indicator.
The Coral water filter reduces contaminants while leaving behind beneficial minerals in your drinking water, such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium, which are essential to the human body. These dissolved minerals will register on a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) meter during water testing. However, it's important to note that TDS meters cannot detect most harmful water-soluble contaminants, and a low TDS reading does not necessarily mean that your water is free of all contaminants.
